Built around the TBP Publishing Contributions Specification (TBP-PCS): an open XML format for explaining how a work was made.

Registration records a declaration. It does not independently verify authorship, certify the absence of AI, determine copyright or endorse the work. Each public record identifies the scope and version its registrant described.

Register a contribution statement

Free during this public pilot. Submit a statement for a whole work or a specific chapter, image, audio item or translation. An operator reviews the submission before it becomes public; registration is not instant.

Corrections and withdrawal requests can be made through The Blue•Print contact page. Quote your registration reference. You do not need to submit your manuscript.

Information to appear in the public record

For example: first edition, chapter revision 3, or a dated draft.

Leave blank for a whole-work statement. Otherwise, identify the chapter, section, image, audio recording or translation covered, for example “Chapter 3” or “Front cover illustration”.

Describe experiences, source material, ideas, direction, writing, selection, review or final decisions. You do not need to disclose a disability or personal history.

Generative AI involvement — select all that apply

Human-supplied material: substantial source material may be supplied by people, with AI helping organise, draft or rewrite it under their direction. People review and approve the final text.

These choices concern generative AI. Choose “No generative AI” on its own. Other statements may be combined. Include known assistance supplied by editors or other contributors. Ordinary non-generative spelling checks may be explained in the optional notes.

Contact and authority

Used to contact you about this registration. It is excluded from public pages and XML downloads.

This pilot stores the submitted statement and private contact email for review and follow-up. Published corrections retain earlier public revisions until an entry is withdrawn. Contact The Blue•Print to request a correction or withdrawal. Contributions are optional and do not affect review.
